The phone drops calls the phone don't receive calls for days at a time. Took the phone in to store and was told nothing could be done

They say sign up here for lifeline get a free phone and all they sent me was a lousy SIM card I asked for days wheres my phone emailed live chat then after 2 weeks this person on live chat says lifeline only get SIM card it literally says all over their website lifeline free phone how is that even legal and how are they even still in business?!! I cant even figure out how to get out of the lifeline with them because the people who answer the phone are incompetent
